  • We need to increase housing opportunities of all types and income levels in the City. Developing more affordable housing as well as opportunities for homeownership will help enhance the social and economic vibrancy of our community.

  • Short term rentals can provide opportunities for residents to receive income, but Short Term Rental (STR) rules must be adopted to ensure that full-time residents (those living in Ithaca for 8 months or more) are not displaced by them.
