SUPPORTING PUBLIC WORKERS
- Our essential services, roads, bridges, and infrastructure are in desperate need of accelerated care and attention to make up for years of deferred maintenance resulting from COVID delays and staffing shortages.
- In 2020 before COVID, the City was in the process of hiring two new streets crews to address road maintenance. Now that the DPW labor contract has been renewed the City should return staffing to previous levels to repair and replace roads and bridges.
